    You can get to Vera by plane, check flights at your local travel agency. Almería is the closest airport and is about 45 minutes far by car, taking the highway. From Murcia airport (San Javier) the drive usually takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.The cheapest flights are from Alicante airport, but it takes 2 hours and 20 minutes from there.
    You can hire a car in any of the airports and drive the whole way to Vera.
