Notes to the rental rates A security deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be returned to you within fourteen days of leaving the villa, subject to our manager reporting no damage, excess cleaning or unacceptably high usage of electricity or water. Any breakages must be reported to the manager, and may be deducted from the deposit. We are sorry to have to ask for this, but it is common practice and the only protection we have against mistreatment of our beautiful villa. Full payment becomes due not later than 2 months before the agreed date for commencement of the lease. Payment can be made in pounds sterling or in euro. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing not less than 2 months before the lease begins. Cancellation after this time may cause us to incur additional loss and expense, and we reserve the right to retain some or all of your payment. This will depend to a large extent on the amount of notice given and on whether we are able to rebook the property.
