| This sunny apartment overlooks the swimming pool and has two terraces so you can lap up the sun all day - that is, if you chose not to lie on the sunbeds or lounge on the golden beach. It comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday.
The bedroom has twin beds, ample wardrobe space, a safety deposit box and opens on to the terrace. The lounge opens on to a balcony overlooking the pool and has a TV, video, selection of films, sofa, sofa bed and the sofa can also be used as a bed. The fully equipped fitted kitchen has a washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, toaster, electric kettle, iron and all cutlery and glassware you will need. The bathroom has a bath with shower, washbasin and there is a separate toilet with bidet.
Just a few minutes away is the golden beach with very safe bathing and at the harbrour area, watersports abound with everything from jet ski to windsurfing - or take the catamaran and go swimming with dolphins!
The island's 18 hole championship golf course is a five minute taxi ride away (as is the island's only McDonald's!). There is ten pin bowling, mini golf, tennis, quad bike and mountain bike hire and camel rides.
Fuerteventura is probably the least spoiled of the Canary Islands and the up and coming resort of Caleta de Fuste is the ideal place to explore it with excellent bus services and chap local taxis. To the north are the sand dunes of Corralejo, the Isle or Lobos national park or you can take the ferry to Lanzarote for a day. To the south lie mile upon mile of golden sandy beaches. Or go inland to the opposite side of the island and find deserted coves, little fishing villages, picturesque clifftop walks and even the shipwreck of an American ocean going liner washed on to the rocks a few years ago. |
